Interested in visiting ORMC?

We hope you will join us for one of our Sunday services, we'd love to meet you. Please stop by our welcome area outside of worship spaces! We have some information to share with you and a guest gift bag. There's a lot going on at Oak Ridge Methodist and we'd love for you to be a part of it.

  • What kind of Church is Oak Ridge?

    We are affiliated with the Global Methodist Church.

  • What should I wear?

    People wear a variety of styles from casual to dressy. We invite you to come as you feel comfortable!

  • What are the services like?

    Our services last about an hour. 


    Our traditional service is held in the sactuary and includes hymns, a children's message, scripture, prayer, offering, choir anthems, sermon, and Holy Communion once a month.


    Our contemporary service lasts about an hour. THis service is held in our Family LIfe Center (FLC) and includes music by our praise band, a children's message, scripture, prayer, offering, sermon, and Holy Communion once a month.

  • What will my kids do?

    All children are welcome in worship! 


    We have praise packs for kids to utilize during the service with activities included inside. 


    We provide nursery for birth-2years. 


    The nursery room for 9:00am-11:00am is down the hall from the sanctuary in room [room #]. Nursery for the 11:00am service is in the cafe next door to the FLC worship space. 


    There is a children's message in both services for children through 5th grade. 


    Directly following the children's message, kids ages 3 through 2nd grade can go to Kid's Worship in the cafe. Children grades 3-5 can take a worship worksheet to fill out as they listen to the sermon.

  • Do you have Sunday School or small groups?

    We have several adult classes that meet at 10:00am on Sunday mornings. We also have classes for children and youth. During the week, we have small groups that meet in homes and at the church. We invite you to check out a group at any time.
